I follow a few different blogs and I have read on a few of them the 101 in 1001 days project {Shari Henson Photography}, I began thinking about it and I have thought I will give it a try. I was telling my Mom about it today, she said “oh like a bucket list?” well I guess it is, but mine for now is going to be in 1001 days….not before I die, well unless it is in God’s plan for me to die in the next 1001 days……then it can be a bucket list…oh back to the reason for all of this……{I watched the bucket list just a few months ago} I read about this one on day zero and I have decided I want to challange myself to put things down and try to accomplish them. If I do not accomplish all of them since some may be harder to complete, I will start over when this one is finished. So the idea is this:
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple challenges such as New Year’s resolutions or a ‘Bucket List’. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
